[10] Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [11] "Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. [12] Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Dear Lord Jesus, Thank You for Your Word. Thank You for those who have come before, those who walked through persecution even unto death, that the Gospel might be shared. Lord, thank You for those who sacrifice everything to reach those who have yet to know You. Lord, please be with those who are persecuted for their faith. Those who live daily unto You and continually in danger. Lord, please be with those who are in prison for Your name. Bring them encouragement and supply all the needs of their family. Lord, please protect the innocent and defend the helpless. Let righteousness and truth be known. Lord, prepare Your people for whatever the future holds, for nothing is a surprise to You. Lord, please help those called by Your name to live daily unto You in all things, not counting the cost, but instead rejoicing the the opportunity to serve You. Lord, thank You that the death of Your saints is precious in Your eyes. I love You, Jesus. Amen.
