| terryshen Jan 2 | Embed from Getty Images Gut feeling says the morality in our society is in decline. Polarization, violence, loneliness/ isolation are common themes in social media. So much so that they have become the expectation. And this negative trend is on the rise. Data from last June by the Gallup poll validates this intuition: 54% of US adults rate our morale value as "poor," 33% rate "only fair," 10% "good" and 1% "excellent." These numbers are the most pessimistic since the Gallup has been collecting data in the past 22 years. Worse yet, no sign of reversal any time soon. With the US Presidential elections this November, a lot is riding on the outcome of that elections. If the former president Trump wins his re-election, the current trend will most likely continue. What's your take on our morale values? Will the elections make much difference? | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
