Hi guys! First blog post of the year. Yayyy🎉
Happy not-so-new year, lol. We're seventeen days in already. How is it going?
For many, the New Year is a time of prayers and fasting.
A time of starting new Bible study plans. I'm sure 60% of Christians are currently studying the book of Genesis, lol
It's the time we are most motivated to read books… "One book per week geng" Hope you're on your third book?🌚
For many students, it's the beginning of settling into a new academic session.
For parents and working class people, it's the time of settling various bills even though January salary is still weeks away from being paid...
It's a time when goals and strategies which have been penned down, are being converted into actions.
A time of trying new things or repeating old strategies that have worked…
And for some it might actually be looking like you have already made mistakes so early.
Maybe you're wondering if this year is gonna be better than previous ones because you are already seeing some patterns being repeated…
Maybe you're still wondering how the Word you have received for the year is going to come through while everyone else seems to have it all figured out.
Pause.
Take a deep breath.
I'm just here to remind you to depend solely on God. Don't depend on promises made by others, or your own abilities or the plans you have written.
Depend solely on God. He will bring His Word to pass.
It's gonna be an awesome year! If you didn't believe it before, believe it now!
Just make sure that your number one goal is growing in your relationship with God. Pursue deeper intimacy with Him. Don't be religious about it. Flow with Him as He leads you. Trust Him.
Secondly, be willing to give it all it takes. It's not going to be easy but you must be intentional about partnering with God to bring His Word to pass.
If He said it's your year of Favour, don't be afraid to pitch your ideas and send out applications.
If He said it's your year of financial prosperity, Read about finances. Save and make good investments.
If He has given you instructions, please don't sleep on it! Be prompt and thorough in your obedience.
Be prepared for what you have prayed for. No Gree! (Of course I had to🌚😂)
Until next time...💜
