Dallas Police are investigating two recent burglaries in the city, where suspects are posing as a business, distracting the victims, then stealing property.

On December 13, 2023, around 5:15pm, Dallas Police responded to the 4500 block of Northhaven Road. The preliminary investigation determined the victim was speaking to one male suspect posing as a business, when another male suspect entered the home and took property without consent.

On December 30, 2023, at about 10:30 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a burglary call in the 9200 block of Westpark Drive. Again, the victim was speaking to one male suspect when another male suspect entered the home and took property without consent. In this case, the suspects (pictured below in home surveillance photos) left the location in a pictured newer model black Chevrolet.

If you feel you are a victim of this scam or of a crime, you are asked to contact your local law enforcement agency.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspects or either case is asked to contact Detective Cade Mullins at 214-670-7735 or cade.mullins@dallaspolice.gov.

The investigations are ongoing and documented under case numbers 221224-2023 (Northhaven) and 232795-2023 (Westpark).
