I can't even begin to explain how shocked and elated I was to wake up and find out that I am nominated for Author Of The Year 2023 on Spillwords Press . Talk about a Fun-Fri-Yay!

It's always been a dream to be Author of the Year and to see my name on the ballot is truly humbling and exhilarating. It's particularly meaningful standing amongst so many talented authors and friends who inspire me daily. I am truly honored and most grateful for the recognition, thanks to Dagmara K. and Team!

I"m so appreciative I am of your support of my work that truly means the world to me. I had so much to share with you today that I'm so grateful for but I think I'll save it until next week but real quick;

I can't wait to show you the harvest from my garden. While small, I actually cooked some delicious broccoli, cauliflower and made a salad for for the fam last night which was so satisfying. It makes me appreciate the farmers!

My hips are feeling really good after the 2 acupuncture appointments and chiropractic appointment although I did lose wind in my sail when she said "you have hip disease and need 2 new hips". While she might be right, I'm holding hope and I'll see what the surgeons have to say about that, thank you very much,

I also did finish both of my books for book club which you might remember was hanging over my head. I'll share those later as well. And Now I'm happy to actually pick the book for our next book club and it's going to be one of yours. It's the first person who sent me their manuscript that asked me to review it, going back a couple of years ago, as a clue.

The babies continue to delight and bring joy everyday and Ollie makes sure she's not forgotten.

Sienna just turned 5 months, Ollie is front and center and Narnia is the best Mom ever. 🤪
