God told of the birth of Christ hundreds of years before the event.
God sent an angel to John the Baptist's father to explain the role John was to have in preparation for Jesus's ministry.
He sent an angel to both Mary and Joseph to explain what He was doing.
An angel announced the birth of Jesus to the shepherds and a host of Heaven sang praises to God.
And the Star proclaimed this glorious event.
Matthew 2:2 NKJV — saying, "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him."
Candle light, lanterns, even a cooking fire wouldn't have extinguished this sign in the sky
Matthew 2:9 NKJV — When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was.
Matthew 2:10 NKJV — When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy.
How fitting that the One who is the light of the world is the only One whose birth was declared by the Star.
Let us repeat the response of those wise men and rejoice exceedingly in the Lord Jesus, light of the world.
John 8:12 KJV — Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

I love You, Jesus. Amen.
