Welcome to December! Are you ready to start the final month of 2023? I'll be honest ... I'm not quite sure to where the last three months have gone... It's been a beyond crazy ride for me and I feel like I've been confronting so many of my fears and worries in the challenges that have been coming my way. I've just been putting one foot in front of the other, trying to trust, and taking things day by day. I know many of you have been messaging me letting me know that things have been crazy for you as well. I think if we all take a minute and send some loving, calming and healing energy for each other to draw upon it may help. I have a candle lit for all of you tonight. 🙂 My heart and energy are always open for you to send you love.
As we move into the holiday season I am stepping slowly and carefully... there have been glimpses of that holiday joy and I'm hoping to be able to settle into it a bit. I'm looking forward to having the tree bring that beautiful calming energy into the house once again. I also found this Peppermint Wallflower scent at Bath and Body Works that I love! I know...completely random. I have the body wash and lotion that I adore for this time of year and I was excited to find the scent in the Wallflower. We have it in the kitchen so it greets you right when you walk in the door. It's been a welcome soothing scent and it's starting to get me into the spirit of the season. My wish this season is just for everyone to be surrounded by love and to have their mental and physical health as well as enough money to cover what they need and maybe a bit extra for the holidays to bring some extra happiness.
This is a wonderful time of year to enjoy your loved ones, family, friends, and those amazing fur babies. Here in New England, the weather has been incredibly unpredictable. I've been grabbing the warm days... hours on some of these days... to go outside and the colder days I've really had the desire to just hang out in my house and watch movies or holiday shows with the family. That calming cottage energy is something that I've definitely been seeking this year. While I'm sure this month will go by quickly I am hoping that for many of us, we can just enjoy the quiet, magickal moments that December and the Winter Solstice can bring.

December 4 - Mercury at Greatest Eastern Elongation - This is a great night to go out and look for Mercury in the night sky.
December 12 - New Moon
December 13/14 - Geminids Meteor Shower - Beautiful! Runs from the 7th to 17th but peaks on these days. Produces up to 120 meteors per hour at its peak.
December 17 - Saturnalia, Today we honor the Roman God Saturn.
December 21 - Yule, Winter Solstice
December 21, 22 - Ursids Meteor Shower - smaller Meteor Shower from debris left behind from the comet Tuttle. Runs from 17 - 25th but peaks on these nights.
December 23 - Celtic Tree month of Birch begins.
December 25 - Feast of Frau Holle, Germanic goddess
December 25 - Christmas Day
December 26 - Full Moon
December 31 - New Year's Eve
December 31 - Festival of Hogmanay
Well this is what I like to see. Perhaps some good news is on the way for all of us. I'm ready! 🙂 You are going to find that you have things to celebrate this month and that is what I like to see. If you've been working hard, you should find that those efforts are rewarded and that things start falling into place for you this month. The beginning stages of something good are coming your way as well.. while you may not have exactly what you want, a breadcrumb is out there to help something that you have been looking for make its way to you. Keep the faith. This includes especially strong energy for things to do with home and your immediate family.
