The Traitor's Emblem by Juan Gómez-Jurado (Spanish) Purge by Sofi Oksanen (Finnish) The Midas Murders by Pieter Aspe (Flemish) Deep as Death by Katja Ivar (Finnish) Last Witnesses: An Oral History of the Children of World War II by Svetlana Alexievich (Russian) Stolen Years by Sara Zyskind (Modern Hebrew) Thanks to My Mother by Schoschana Rabinovici (German) 1222 by Anne Holt (Norwegian) Operation Napoleon by Arnaldur Indriðason (Icelandic) The Princess, The King and The Anarchist by Robert Pagani (French) In Other Words by Jhumpa Lahiri (Italian) In 2024 I would like to read at least a few more books. Most of all I'd like to include an additional non-European language or two, as well as a few classical languages like Hebrew, Greek or Latin.
