Esther‬ ‭2:17‭-‬18, 21-23‬ ‭BSB‬‬

[17] And the king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she found grace and favor in his sight more than all of the other virgins. So he placed the royal crown upon her head and made her queen in place of Vashti. [18] Then the king held a great banquet, Esther's banquet, for all his officials and servants. He proclaimed a tax holiday in the provinces and gave gifts worthy of the king's bounty.

[21] In those days, while Mordecai was sitting at the king's gate, Bigthan and Teresh, two of the king's eunuchs who guarded the entrance, grew angry and conspired to assassinate King Xerxes. [22] When Mordecai learned of the plot, he reported it to Queen Esther, and she informed the king on Mordecai's behalf. [23] After the report had been investigated and verified, both officials were hanged on the gallows. And all this was recorded in the Book of the Chronicles in the presence of the king.

This morning I am drawn to the story of Esther. Hadassah was the daughter of Abigail and his nephew Mordecai took her as a child as his own with the passing of her parents. In time as the king called for the beauty pageant Mordecai instructed her to not reveal her lineage at all. She was kept waiting to see the king and be chosen for 12 months. God does not work with our timing and His prosperity does not come as we expect folk.

Hadassah was a very obedient person and the trusted servant of the King, Hegai she obeyed and trusted his judgement not taking anything else with her to see the king. Yet the Bible says, And the king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she found grace and favor in his sight more than all of the other virgins. I wonder if she made Hegai her adviser later on knowing he understood the king more than any other? She was now Queen and was in full control yet she did not allow the affluence distort her thinking.

When her uncle discovered the plot to kill the king and told her, she revealed it to the king. She could have plotted to rule allowing them kill the king andaking her Queen over the entire land. No! She never taught of changing her destiny and owning it all. In fact the favor and access she had she used wisely. But all of this was borne from standing still and waiting upon God to do that which one can't do him/herself. Can you imagine what trust God is placing in you when He places you in strategic positions to save territories?

Truly prosperity is a bucket in an ordered life. She had an ordered life trained by her uncle Mordecai and that helped keep Hadassah grounded and I don't know who needs this today but God has placed you were you are strategically to execute His glorious plan in due season. It took 12 months of pampering and waiting before Esther was ready for the King. Honestly, I have been waiting for a revelation and this is for me. I can under you Lord wait a little longer for your revelatory powers in Jesus name! Amen! It may not look as you wish but His plans are about to be accomplished in and through you so the territory prospers in the mighty name of Jesus. Just wait a little longer as your bucket of waiting fetches your prosperity in Jesus name Amen! Shalom
