I am finally began to paint the bathroom! One coat of paint on some of the walls, sore muscles from stretching, and an almost ruined pair of leggings later, the bathroom no longer looks so yellow. Instead, it is starting to look like the white-with-a-very-light-blue-hue paint color I picked. It is also starting to look really nice.
As of this post, I am starting to need a break from painting. My body just needs some time off to rest. Also, I have too many chores around the house that I have been neglecting. I wanted to paint the whole bathroom within a week, but since I am doing it by myself and I have other things to do during the day, I haven't spent more than two hours painting the room. This is why progress has been slow. Also, I realized the paint in the bathroom has worn off so much there are sections of the drywall that are starting to absorb the first layer of paint.
Still, I am optimistic. After seeing the color I picked for the walls (An extremely light blue, almost white shade to complement the yellows in the tiles and other things in the bathroom) I really liked it! To me, it makes the bathroom look a lot cleaner and lighter. It still has the original yellow hues, but the paint complements it.
Even though I am frustrated the painting is going slowly, I am excited about the way the bathroom will look like. I don't have any other plans to decorate it differently than it was prior to painting the walls. Once I'm done painting the walls, and the linen closet shelves, I will be done with the bathroom! Then, I need to decide what to work on next. The problem is I don't know what to work on next. The kitchen needs paint help. So does the laundry room. Then again, I could just enjoy the newly painted bathroom and work on the rest of the house later. I just need to wait to see what I feel like (And can afford) to do next.
That's all for now! Thank you for reading!
