| RestoringVoice Apr 18 | Passage - You display your grace to thousands but also repay the guilt of the fathers into the lap of their children who follow them. Great, powerful God, whose name is Adonai-Tzva'ot, Jeremiah 32:18 Restated in my own words - God displays grace but when we follow in the wicked footsteps of our fathers we're bringing guilt upon ourselves. God is powerful, great, and the Lord of hosts. Application to my life - God is just. He gives grace to those who follow Him. When we choose wickedness and follow the ways of our earthly fathers, we are pronounced guilty. We can't blame our present on our past because we have free choice. We have the choice to follow God and have His favor. He is a great and powerful God. Are there ways that I am following that are not what God would have me that I have learned from my family? Your response back to God - Lord, forgive me for turning to food for comfort. I know that in You I don't need to do that. I need to turn to You because You are great and powerful. You can handle my emotions if I just give them to oYu and not bury them in food. Open the eyes of my heart. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
