Yes, whether printed or electronic, open the Word and read it for yourself. You need to know if someone is misleading you with false doctrine that cannot be validated in scripture.

2 Timothy 2:15-16 (NKJV) Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness.

Philippians 2:12-13 (KJV) Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

1 John 4:1-6 (KJV) Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. I post Daily verses, Daily Devotions, Daily Bible Reading, and this Daily Service with the intent of equipping you for your own journey with God. You should never be dependent on what someone in the church tells you, or what a denomination says is so, but you should be able to discern spirits with a good knowledge of the Bible.

I had another 2 opportunities to witness to professing Christians about being more devoted in our devotions. Thank the Lord for the courage to reach out.
