| RestoringVoice Sep 19 | Scripture - The fool won't work and almost starves but feels that it is better to be lazy and barely get by, than to work hard, when in the long run it is all so futile. Ecclesiastes 5:5-6 Thoughts about what this scripture means - Fools don't want to work, they see that in the end it is all futile so are okay being lazy and just getting by. Application to my life - I can't live to work, despite needing money to live. All my hours in the day if spent at work would be futile. I need to get time to work, but also to what is important and that is Kingdom things. When I am at work, that is work, and may be Kingdom business also. It is important though that I am not spending all my time at work. Response back to God- Lord, help me to keep a godly focus while at work, but not to make work my top priority.
