There is another serious problem I have seen everywhere—savings are put into risky investments that turn sour, and soon there is nothing left to pass on to one's son. Ecclesiastes 5:12-14 Thoughts about what this scripture means - If you work hard you will sleep well even if you're hungry. The rich often suffer with worry and insomnia. It is important to invest wisely so you have something to leave your children. Application to my life - Sleep comes easily to me when I have worked hard. I can just sleep anywhere a chair, car, a bed because I'm exhausted. I work at saving although I am less diligent to do it with money that comes to me first period I do need to do a better job at monitoring my investments. Response back to God - Lord thank You for the blessings of strong work, rest, and the ability to save money.
