According to reports, the man was on his way home from a party when three shots rang out from a passing vehicle at about 2:00 a.m. One bullet hit him in the face. A relative told St. Lucia Times that a passerby later saw the victim lying on the ground and summoned an ambulance, which took the injured man to the hospital. The relative said the victim's pouch and mobile telephone were missing. The 28-year-old was reported in stable condition in the hospital on Thursday afternoon.
