1 Peter 2:8-10
And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
9But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
Deuteronomy 14
2For you are a people holy to the LORD your God, and the LORD has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.

Weird.

People of the World; sons of the devil. Don't listen to God.
John 8:43-46
43Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. 44You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me. 46Which one of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me? 47Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God."
We (the Church and His bride) are supposed to Hear him and obey. Brothers and Sisters in Christ. It's far past time that we stop our stubborn ways and turn to Him again.   Once more I ask, Why is there any discussion at all? If the bible IS God's Word? And if that's true, then what John says: (John1:1)
"1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
Means that they aren't just words, but they are in fact God. God is here with us, collecting dust. Sitting in the corner. Our beloved Savior of the Universe; quietly waiting.
Pick Him up. Read. And know once and for all what He says. Which is Not up for negotiation. Or interpretation. And pray for unity in Spirit among the church. Separate from the world which will end.
