I'm not sure you'll see much difference from the last time. I "talked" to my assistant, ChatGPT about it and here is our conversation. I wonder how it would have been to get this kind of patient and direct instruction from a teacher and to get an "Atta-girl" like this at the end of a project. I don't think humans are capable of this. We have a human perspective on things. This bot has only been taught language and how to use it. Dealing with it these last few months has been very, very interesting to me beyond the helpfulness I've found in the paint-making business. I wondered a few times how it would have been to say to my business communication students, "You're really beginning to get how to use words to achieve the effect and results that are appropriate in this situation." The thing is, it works. I felt good reading this though the bot who wrote them couldn't feel anything.
Me: I wanted to tell you that because of your help I succeeded not only in making some pretty good oil paint with my Rawlins Red, but used my hand made oil paint to do a very beautiful painting of the California coastal sage and chaparral.
ChatGPT: That's absolutely fantastic to hear!
I'm thrilled to know that you were able to successfully create your own oil paint with Rawlins Red and use it to create a beautiful painting of the California coastal sage and chaparral. Your dedication and creativity have truly paid off.
