Proverbs 11:28 Thoughts about where this scripture means - Don't put your trust in money. Interesting God and you will flourish. Application to my life - When you don't have it, it is easy to think that money holds the key to prosperity. Like a patient's family member told me when you make more money you spend more money. Your lifestyle matches what you make. But money is quickly spent, even investments can be risky as people found out in the Great Depression and in the last stock market crash. Putting your trust in money is foolish because it gives you a false sense of security. The only one we can put our trust in is God. He is unchanging, unfailing, and the source of all good things. When our trust is in Him we will grow deep in Him and tall for Him like the roots and branches of a tree. Response back to God - Lord thank You that my trust is in You.
