What is Betrayal – and why does it hurt so much?
Is it because we put too much trust in others, rather than trust ourselves? Is the love we want, to be loved, coming from the place within ourselves that is longing for recognition, rather than recognizing the True Love we have deep within our own Heart?
This betrayal we experience is seen on so many levels between human beings, the relationship between two lovers, the relationship between a parent and a child, and the relationship between government and citizens. And always there is this feeling of being hurt by someone other than ourselves. But is it?
Can it be that the feeling of betrayal comes from our inner Soul experiences, just to show us the importance of being True to our Self?
If we are living the True Self, from the Heart, there is no longing for acknowledgment, there is no dependency, there can love freely given to one another, without the deep needing caused by emotional wounds and there is Freedom in this.
No need for worry if you share love, and no need to be returned to the same matter, the same way, for the trust that lies within is so great and memorable that any reflection of it is enough.
So betrayal comes from the inner wounds and is a guideline to help recover and restore the Trust within Yourself. To rebalance and heal the thin line that keeps you from finding this deep Love within Yourself, the Spark of Love that connects us with the Source connects us with Unconditional Love, no attachments are needed any longer.
Forgiveness of self brings far more freedom than the need to forgive the other which causes this feeling of betrayal, or being the victim in the situation. Forgiveness clears the way and the great gift is that at the same time, it enables you to forgive the other as well.
No need to stay in this old pattern or ways of wanting to be loved just from the outside.
Healing of Self-Love, Self-Awareness, and Self-Worth is creating just a great and vast space deep within the Heart, for you are the Creator.
And so it is,
