Again, this morning let's continue to look into the scriptures and see what Salvation - was and (is):

Revealed to the prophets…1 Peter 1:10-11 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace [that should come] unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow (KJV).
Promised to the Gentiles…Isaiah 45:21-22 Tell ye, and bring [them] near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? [who] hath told it from that time? [have] not I the LORD? and [there is] no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; [there is] none beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else (KJV)
Psalm 119:81 My soul fainteth for thy salvation: [but] I hope in thy word (KJV).
Psalm 119:174 I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law [is] my delight (KJV).
To be realized in the Messiah…Isaiah 59:16-17 And he saw that [there was] no man, and wondered that [there was] no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance [for] clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke (KJV).
Seen in Christ's birth… Luke 1:69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David (KJV). Luke 1:77 give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins (KJV).
Christ, the author…Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him (KJV)
Accomplished on the cross… John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up (KJV).
Preached through the Good News… Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise (KJV).
Rejected by Israel… Acts 13:26 Men [and] brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent (KJV). The people in Jerusalem and their leaders fulfilled prophecy by condemning Jesus to death. They didn't recognize him or realize that he is the one the prophets had written about, though they hear the prophets' words read every Sabbath. They found no just cause to execute him, but they asked Pilate to have him killed anyway.
Extended to Gentiles…Acts 28:28 Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and [that] they will hear it (KJV). (Some manuscripts add verse 29, And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, greatly disagreeing with each other.)

I must say, it truly is a blessing to accept Jesus as my Savior; for Salvation has come to my house and my children and with that I will be FOREVER GRATEFUL!
