Built on the rock of Jesus and His mighty Word, we have hope in this world because of the certainty we have of life forever with You. Use honesty to disrupt us, hope to sculpt us, peace to protect us, and faith to persist in us. Help us to see how awesome You are, O Lord! We know Your Word is faithful and true because You alone are the rock from which our lives have been hewn and in whom we rest securely. Into Your merciful care we commend ourselves and all for whom we pray, ever trusting in Your grace and mercy; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
