I'm very thankful to the Lord for His bounty.
Although I started my tomato seeds a month later than I should have, He has blessed us with plenty of fruit.
I'll be busy canning tomatoes today and thanking Him for the ability to do so.
It's been several years since I was able to can tomatoes.
And it's extra special that those tomatoes were grown from tiny seeds.
I love how God's creation constantly reminds me to praise the Lord, Maker of Heaven and earth.
I'm also thankful for the ability to work and not only enjoy the work of my hands, but to know I'll be blessing my family as well through the future meals these tomatoes will be a part of.
Ecclesiastes 3:11-13 NKJV — He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. 12 I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, 13 and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your Word. Thank You for salvation, the greatest gift of all time. Lord, thank You for Your provision, not just the tomatoes, but all Your provision from the breath in my lungs to the beating of my heart. Lord, thank You for life. May I use what You have given wisely and that it would be an offering to You daily. Lord, thank You for Your great love, nothing compares! I lift up Your name in worship and I praise You, Lord Jesus! I love You, Lord! Amen.
