Praise; Getting That Groove On That Unlocks The Haven
I am the rose of Sharon, And the lily of the valleys. As the lily among thorns, So is my love among the daughters. As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, So is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, And his fruit was sweet to my taste. He brought me to the banqueting house, And his banner over me was love. Stay me with flagons, Comfort me with apples: For I am sick of love. His left hand is under my head, And his right hand doth embrace me. I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, By the roes, and by the hinds of the field, That ye stir not up, nor awake my love, Till he please. The voice of my beloved! Behold, he cometh Leaping upon the mountains, Skipping upon the hills. My beloved is like a roe Or a young hart: Behold, he standeth Behind our wall, He looketh forth at the windows, Shewing himself through the lattice.
Song of Solomon 2:1-9 KJV
At the turn of the month as we ended our journey of myth and truth the Lord led me to a deeper insight of the words of the passage before us today. Interestingly theessage for the month has to be with praise overtaking us in a month of new beginnings. But as I studied I realized that the ultimate goal of God is our salvation and that's all Satan attempts to twarth. In fact it's so key that even our sexuality is very much in His plan. God understands the big cum as described in this passage and God also expects us to give high praise of Him in all we do. Someone else did so and God called him a man after His own heart.
Psalm 42 reminds me of this in a way. David pants for the presence of the Lord like a deer. He remembers how good it is when we lead the way with praise in verse four as his focus and desire is to join the multitude to Halal praise God. Praise should be the thing that propels us into our days – like my hot cup of Roiboos tea launches me into my morning routine. David reminds us that we need to start our day/event/life/relationship with praise – not just prayer, but praise. Praise was very cultural in the ancient near east and the passage showed how Solon and the one wan he truly loved but could not marry related praising each other.
As a husband I sometimes forget but I try to praise my wife especially with regards to her clothes. We are missionaries and don't always have funds to buy the sort of clothes that we want or are trendy. She knows how to turn the most mundane thing and make it look chic and rich...she has always had that rich geh vibe if you know what I'm saying. I see as she glows when I genuinelyake affirmative statements about her. She is a light and enters places to brighten them up. Coach Sam calls her the Fixer. But I am quickly reminded that the true fixer is Jesus. He put that seed in her and She is a mini type of Jesus as we all ought to be, knowing we just might be the only Bible someone will ever read we must stand out and dare to be different.

So, the Nubian called herself the Rose of Sharon. Ancients could not classify the type of rose but the harsh environment could not have been good enough to nurture a rose you know. But it could have been the resilient Crocus too. So she calls herself merely a Rose from the land of Sharon and a lilly in the valley. He responded by telling her she was a lilly (Praise; of course reflecting her beauty and swag)by saying of her she was a praise amongst thorns. Picture Jesus the Lilly of the valley and bright morning Star on the cross with thorns on His head nailed there. At that moment He lost His beauty as He had no form not comliness that we would look on Him. Even His father turned away that He cried Eloi Eloi why have you forsaken Me? So said Isaiah 53:2 yet He stood high above the multitude as a symbol of eternal praise removing the veil between man and God. She then speaks of Solomon as a cover rightly too describing him as an apple, reminding us that Eve and Adam ate the forbidden apple. It caused a divide and Satan knowing that we carry part of God inside of us desires to bring us together in unity of sexuality to raise him above God.
God forbid we be the generation that attempts to become one in spirit and build the tower of Babel again. Even Sadam Hussain died with his vain attempt but guess what? In this season as hard as it is Jesus is our cover. Can you just put your praise on Him this month and see what He will do? The praise and toasting that Solomon did to the Nameless Nubian and perhaps Nigerian girl(by the way we have the most beautiful women in Africa collectively), was swooned by Solomon and he took her to the banquet hall where she quickly reminds all ladies do not wale sexuality before it's time. Alas they would not marry and it affected Solon badly. The praises got them together as he anticipated the big ride watching behind her windows down stairs. Perhaps what is described in verse eight to nine is the expectation of the big cum which turned out to be premature ejaculation? We would never know...
But that's how powerful the tool of praise is. He that is Jehovah over do inhabits our praise. Yes Jehovah the Lion of Judah our saviour and friend awaits your praise. Like they did at Jericho, your praise will push down the walls this month and cause men and things to work for your greatest good and highest advantage in Jesus name Amen! Ssshhhh! Should I tell the King? That praise unlocks the door and eliminates the adversity we face! Can you put your praise on that situation today and put your groove on as if today is Friday and we are getting the party on! Let your light shine as your praise reaches to the high heavens this month.Shalom
