66 % des entreprises se préparent à effectuer des ventes sur de nouveaux marchés à l'international au cours des deux prochaines années, a chiffré Stripe. L'e-commerce sera leur support. Si les exportations vers les pays voisins restent élevées, les flux commerciaux entre des régions où les commerce est moins courant se développent. « Tous les pays étudiés exportent désormais à grande échelle vers plusieurs continents , observe Emily Glassberg Sands, Head of Information, Stripe . Les micro-entreprises s'internationalisent, 80 % des entrepreneurs individuels effectuant des ventes dans plusieurs pays. »
Ces résultats sont issus de l'analyse des données agrégées des transactions sur Stripe , plateforme d'infrastructure financière pour les entreprises ainsi que d'enquêtes menées auprès de 1 700 chefs d'entreprise et de 11 500 consommateurs sur neuf marchés. Le rapport met en évidence que « les solutions et outils numériques sont en train de bouleverser les circuits établis de la mondialisation et permettent aux entreprises de toute taille de vendre leurs produits et services à des clients partout dans le monde. »
La mondialisation, toujours En dépit des défis macroéconomiques et géopolitiques, les entreprises et les consommateurs sont de plus en plus enthousiastes à l'idée d'acheter et de vendre à l'étranger. Le rapport de Stripe révèle que 81 % des entreprises s'attendent à augmenter leurs ventes internationales au cours des cinq prochaines années.

Tirer parti du ralentissement Mieux : le rapport Stripe Insights 2023 révèle que 61 % des entreprises tirent parti du ralentissement économique actuel pour tester de nouvelles manières de générer des revenus en ligne. Beaucoup font ainsi appel à des outils qui leur ouvrent de nouvelles sources de revenus sans demander d'investissement initial démesuré.
« Ainsi, près des deux tiers des entreprises estiment que les paiements en ligne offrent de nouveaux moyens de générer des revenus, conclut Emily Glassberg Sands. 71 % d'entre elles affirment que leurs clients réclament de plus en plus des processus de paiement fluides. Conséquence logique, de nombreuses entreprises misent sur des outils de paiement qui les aident à doper leurs ventes. »
