Deuteronomy 5:31 (NIV). The Lord was the first being to write out The Law for people to follow so that it will go well with them spiritually, for physical health, and mental health. Just like the law of the land that we all must follow for our own safety and for successful interactions in life, God wants us to be obedient to His Words. "Why, then, was the law given at all? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come. The law was given through angels and entrusted to a mediator." Galatians 3:19 (NIV). Until Jesus returns we need His Law to deal with the ungodliness that surrounds us. Let us be followers of His Word and not the world. _________________________________________________ Juel A.
