During the search of the vehicle, Officers discovered one (1) black 9mm " St. Lucia Times Two Men Granted Bail For Possession Of Illegal Gun, Ammunition Editorial Staff Jul 6 On Sunday July 2, 2023 about 10:00 p.m. during a patrol along the Sarrot, Castries Road, Officers attached to the Traffic Unit stopped and searched a motor car with two occupants. During the search of the vehicle, Officers discovered one (1) black 9mm Taurus G3XL pistol and nineteen (19) rounds of Ammunition. The two occupants were later identified as twenty (27) year old, Alan Junior Johnie of Morne Ciseaux, Anse La Raye and twenty-three (23) year old, Richardson Enolis of Sarrot, Bexon. They were both subsequently arrested and charged for the offences of Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition. They were escorted to the First District Court and granted bail for the Possession of Firearm in the sum of twenty-five thousand ($25,000) dollars cash or suitable surety each. On the Possession of Ammunition, they were granted bail in the sum twenty-five thousand ($25,000) dollars cash each or suitable surety and other court conditions.
