Super Abundance
Now the famine was severe in the land. When they finished eating the grain they had brought from Egypt their father said to them, "Go back. Buy us a little food." Then their father Israel said to them, "If it must be so, then do this: take some of the best products of the land in your bags, and bring an offering down to the man—a little balsam and a little honey, gum and myrrh, pistachios and almonds. Also take in your hand a double portion of silver, and bring back in your hand the silver that had been returned in the mouth of your sacks. Perhaps it was a mistake. Then portions were brought to them from before him—and Benjamin's portion was five times larger than any of their portions. Yet they drank and made merry with him.

Yesterday was our day of fasting at the orphanage and I spent a large Portion of my day ministering to our children in Zarazong. We noted that prosperity and success was not tied to cash or the things society hold as rules for prosperity and success. We also saw that Joseph as a slave in Portiphar home was called prosperous and successful. As we sojourned in the Holy writ another thing came up about abundance and that is when it hit me that God said we will enter abundance and I'm wondering how that works but then God opened my eyes! Journey with me on this eye opening experience...
Do you know the meaning of the word abundance? Norman Vincent Peale asked someone and proceeded to tell the person, he too didn't until he looked it up in the dictionary. He said he was thrilled by the insight! The derivation of the word abundance goes back to rhe Latin verb undare, which means "to rise up in waves." That is truly a thrill isn't it for life rises in waves. We are in a wave season and it looks as though things are not working and the cost of everything is high due to inflation right but, Ah! God is at work in the situations we face today. Have you got any waves in life? For long I felt the waves were not coming or rising my way but then God reminded me as I was sharing and conversion with my children.
The passage today tells us that Jacob now Israel and his family were in a famine. The famine I noted did not stop them from having some abundance in the land. So even in this season look again there is abundance. As I spoke later in the evening Kyenpiya reminded me that I was in a famine but had abundance and because I focused on what I didn't have I could not see what I had. I have had phone issues and it was affecting my writings. Yet God is showing me let that phone be slow, turn it off put it on and continue writing where it stopped. My tablet is gone as it crashed from the load I had placed on it. I was bothered but was reminded what have you in your hand it's what God uses to bring the new wave. In fact a dear sister supported with funds to get a new phone and the guy whom I would usually buy gadgets from and would send fund to as I raise it lost so much that my funds with him has been swallowed by the crisis. It hit me again its a wave but focus.
It may seem like a little dribble right now but know rhat a wave of the mighty supply of God is come. He never meant for us to dribble through life at all. God meant for us to enjoy abundance. Can you imagine it was grains that was scarce to make bread that made Jacob send his sons back to Egypt. Kai, this same bread that make one put on weight? Really scarry stuff and he was willing to send his son Benjamin with his brothers so they could get grains to eat bread. That is super abundant life and yet he could only see with the eyes of famine.
I have taken God's rebuke and will focus on my abundance and not the lack thereof. Of all handicaps that hold people back from being successful in their living and from overcoming weakness and having strength, the worst is a lack of love. Yes LOVE! It is lobe that got Kyenpiya and I on a journey that has turned us into another Abraham and Sarah in this generation. In fact I dare say there is no wisdom like that of the Bible, which tells us not to be angry with people and not to hate them but love them. That lobe has got us serving. She reminded me that it's not a car, a phone, a fat bank account that keeps us serving this hallowed community amongst others we have been called to Shepherd in God's vineyard. It is ultimately love the super abundant love of God shed abroad our hearts keeps us going and is a huge wave.
Now for one who loves the water as myself I'm fascinated by the under current that brings about those large waves we see that surfers love to ride. How are you riding that wave of famine knowing a wave of abundance comes sooner than you can imagine. I just want to encourage someone as I'm encouraging myself this morning that the super abundance comes and it's not as the world sees it but as God says it is. The tablet catching my eyes is generic and comes at just under 70 grand the phone I need should at least be 256gigs but ideally 512gigs and ultimately 1terabyte is what works optimally yet God shows me that this constantly crashing tool is enough to send His message of lobe to nations. I did not feel like writing this but got a pop up that told me the reach of this blog is now beyond 10grand folks across nations and continents and it froze me as I just saw the abundance Kyen was talking about and I'm not tapping into the love and support folk have for our mission. It is time to ride the wave of lobe amd give super abundant lobe in this season as many are going through a desperate time across nations. Be encouraged today. The wave cometh of abundance and see the wave not the famine we face, for we call forth the unseen into the seen in this season in Jesus name and the abundance of rain causes a bounty full harvest in Jesus name Amen!
