"Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession." Psalm 2:8
I really feel like tonight was confirmation from the Lord about this journey ahead of me in New Mexico. I feel like He showed me He will reignite the dry bones of my passion. The passion for the church to be the church. It will look different, but it will happen.
I need to start praising, declaring the Word and the rivers will flow. The springs will burst forth.
I have never felt called to a nation other than the United States. I felt like the nations that will be my heritage are the Native Americans, the indigenous nations. New Mexico has twenty-three tribes that are sovereign nations.
There are 23 Indian tribes located in New Mexico - nineteen Pueblos, three Apache tribes (the Fort Sill Apache Tribe, the Jicarilla Apache Nation and the Mescalero Apache Tribe), and the Navajo Nation.
The nineteen Pueblos are comprised of the Pueblos of Acoma, Cochiti, Isleta, Jemez, Laguna, Nambe, Ohkay Owingeh, Picuris, Pojoaque, Sandia, San Felipe, San Ildefonso, Santa Ana, Santa Clara, Santo Domingo, Taos, Tesuque, Zuni and Zia.
Each Tribe is a sovereign nation with its own government, life-ways, traditions, and culture.
NEW MEXICO'S UNIQUE NATIVE AMERICAN COMMUNITIES
I few like God is preparing me to step out of my comfort zone and into ministry of some sort to the nations.
Jesus is the Spring of Living Water. There was no room for Satan to tempt Him because He was full. I must also stay full of Holy Spirit, full to overflowing.
