Israel - A Lifesaver. Young boy travels from West Africa to Israel for lifesaving heart surgery.
Diagnosed at a field hospital on the Ukrainian border with a severe heart condition, 5-year-old Karina was brough - through Israel's 'Save A Child Heart' organization - to the Jewish state for life-saving heart surgery. Over 6,600 children from countries around the world suffering from heart disease, including those with no bilateral relations with Israel - make the journey to Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, to receive life-saving care.
