The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1 KJV
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your Word. Thank You for the promises within it and the encouragement my soul needs. Lord, thank You for feeding my soul through Your scriptures. Thank You for fulfilling my need for salvation through Your sacrifice. Thank You for supplying me with hope through Your resurrection. Lord, our world is dark and evil abounds. Please strengthen those struggling with fear. Remind them that You have overcome sin, death, and the enemy. Lord, for those who struggle with illness, please help them to have a correct perspective and to be able to rejoice in Your truth that You use all things for good to those who love God and are called according to His purposes. Lord, for the captive, the helpless, the orphan, and the widow I thank You for how You are working in each one's life. Lord, please continue to sustain them, bringing them Your truth in the midst of pain and suffering. Lord, let each one of us look for the opportunity to stand in the gap on behalf of those the enemy is trying to steal, kill, and destroy. I praise You, Jesus that one day You will return and deal mightily with sin, wickedness, and the devil. Lord, let each one examine themselves daily and recognize their need for You and walk with humility in the application of Your Word. I love You, Jesus. Amen.
