This morning, I must say, the Truth (the Word) shall set you free (make you free). Hold to His teachings thru the power of the Holy Spirit and become His true disciple in thought, word, and deed. John 8:31 - 32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, [then] are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (KJV). Proverbs 12:25 Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad (KJV). Read the Word…Hear the Word and put it into practice. Jeremiah 6:10 To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear [is] uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it (KJV). Deuteronomy 10:16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked (KJV). Wisdom is…the fear (reverence) of God…speaking forth His Word and putting it into practice. Jeremiah 8:9 The wise [men] are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom [is] in them (KJV)? Are they so wise after all? - Luke 11:28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed [are] they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
- John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not (KJV).
- John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (KJV).
Change your thinking…be renewed in the mind, by His Word. Romans 10:17 So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (KJV). Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (KJV). Ephesians 6:15-17 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (KJV).
