Enjoying the, alone here! Translated…
The weather was, sunny and, bright, and I'd, wanted to, go to watch the waves, and so, I'd, acted on the thought, packed up some simple things, and inquired about the bus routes, then, headed, out to the coastal west. It wasn't weekend or holiday, or the rush hours, the freeways were, without any traffic, the road now belonged to me, I own everything.
As I'd arrived to my destination, not that many tourists, and it'd made me, even more, excited, the Kaomei Wetlands that was originally packed with the visitors, seemed to have been, reserved to only me today, my field of vision opened to 360, taking in all the, beautiful, sights of, nature! Looking far, the blue skies, the blue oceans, there's, that line that connected the oceans to the skies, in the far distance, and that blue seemed to be, magical, made me even more, relaxed.

Walking down the wooden boarded hiking trails, I was too busy, getting distracted by everything I encountered, the mudfishes, hopping here and there, the crabs, rammed all over the wetlands, digging up their hiding holes, and, to capture their, evasive bodies, I'd, started, bending over, backwards………
At first, I was, a bit, worried what others will interpret me as, I'd felt, a bit, awkward, until I found someone who's just like me, wiggling around, and, although we don't know each other, but we shared the common activity, of chasing after the species of crabs, and we started, conversing, and got really into, discussion. In the fermenting of the bright sunny skies, the sandy beaches, the waves, we'd turned into long lost, friends, sat together on the beaches, listening to the waves echoed, watching the waves rolling in and out, watching the, sunset, so at ease.
On the way home, I'd, made my way to the Da-An Seaside Park, I'd buried a time capsule here many years ago. As a kid, every summer, my parents would take us to the beaches, and the sandy beaches became our, biggest playground, we'd hopped, screamed, run like hell, without worrying of our neighbors complaining of we are getting too loud, and, as we'd become completely wet, covered in sand, we don't get, scolded either, this is, the best play haven for us young children, to drain all our, excessive, energies.
And, we'd started, making the castles, digging up the moats, and it was brain wrecking how we had to, design our fortresses. Gotten into chasing the waves, observing closely, when those crabs will, come out of their, hiding, holes in the sand, and we'd had to, have the hand-eye coordination to get them, or to not get clamped by their, claws. The most exciting was the water balloon war or the water gun fights, we'd started, firing off at one another left and right, and, when we get tired from playing, we simply, lay ourselves down, to get, that needed, sunbathe, the soft sand became our beds, the waves became, the quilts, the sounds of the waves, became, that lullaby, in a daze, I'd become, a mermaid, chasing the waves with the dolphins, the wind, as well as the, sun too, I was free to go wherever I pleased in the oceans opened wide, I was, so happy.

I sat quietly, on the warmed sand, watching the pair of young daughter and her father, with a toy shovel and a toy bucket, chasing the fish, the crabs, and also getting chased by the cold ocean waters too, their laughter came into my ears, and the familiarity of that once came back to, life. Going to the beaches alone, staring into space on my own, it'd, given me, a ton of, joys.
And so, this is on how you enjoyed alone, and it's a wonderful thing, that you can be, so comfortable by yourself, with no need for, anybody else's, company, and you still found that peace and joy in everything you do, by your, self.
