Today's prompt is something that I was a bit surprised with, it was a question that is very personal and something that remains within your family. But nevertheless, I would still answer this as No I have never had a surgery and for that I thank God. I have seen so many who have gone through minor and major surgeries including my own and what goes with it is anxiety, hope for success, better health and good recovery. There is a lot a family goes through apart from the patient himself or herself. I have seen the strongest of people nervous as they are taken in the operation theatre and there are weaker ones who have shown strength. My prayers stay with those who need to have a surgery as when you cut open something there is always a heart that beats and a life that breathes. Those waiting outside go through the same mental state as they eagerly wait for the surgeon to home out and say it went well. It is always a long battle right from when the pain started till you feel fully recovered. There are many who lose the battle mid way and then there are always thoughts regarding the surgery not being successful. Faith and hope that all ends well are the only thing which makes one go through it. Look after your health and monitor your health so that you save yourself from being cut open to breathe.
