A compromised life is a life that does not know which side of the biblical fence it is on. It still believes it belongs to the God, but feels little conviction for the sin it has become comfortable with. It makes excuses for rejecting Bible truth, and is confident in saying, "God understands my situation". In the end, these people have a seared conscience that is insensitive to the Holy Spirit, and remains comfortably unrepentant in sin.
However, the Bible has a clear message to those who believe God thinks the way they do. Romans 6:1- 2 puts it this way; "...Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?" If you are one who claims to be a follower of Jesus, yet still feels no conviction living in sin, you have believed a lie, and are in grave danger. Scripture says we all must "turn from our wicked ways". If you are living a compromised life of sin, it's time to repent while you still can!
Today's Word: No one lives for God and lives in sin. It's all for God, or not at all. The devil knows compromise will be your undoing.
