The Testimony We Share
The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God.
Romans 8:16 AMPC
This morning as dear sister Orenze voice Saunders into my ear drums I am overwhelmed by the reality of the sacrifice of Love on the altar of the cross. That Jesus spared no cost to please His father and lay His life on the cross of calvary as a sacrifice unto God once for all for my sins is deeply sobering. As I wake to see a brand new day there is that firm reminder that there is st8ll a God reason and an assignment purposed by God that I am still alive. It makes the passage today hit deeper.
See how far You (God) brought me! My existence is in You. My life line is in You. It is God that has protected me and is a good father as well as Shepherd of my soul! I am certainly close to disgrace but never left without hope. God does the impossible for me. It is so important to Him that, the Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God. If the Holy Ghost gives testimony with out spirit then as we take time to think, things come to our memory and we remember how God brought us to where we are today. Nothing is more important than our relationship with God.
I ask what is most important to you? That which God honors and testifies to is what he calls us His recommendation letter that is written on our hearts and shines forth His light. If we see that our spirit testifies with the Holy Spirit then we can understand our place in this world. I am nothing but sand a repeat failure that God used to back His daughter to cater for generations of Children left without hope or help.
I find purpose is written in the sands of time as we daily live. I also find that a lot of fights couples have is because the Holy Spirit is not within them. Asked a couple I counselled if Jesus walked in would they make heaven? The bile they had for each other distorted there reality and the reflection of the Holy Ghost speaking in and through them. It was amazing to see two love birds turned into vicious deadly assault weapons on each other. That showed me the mind is the only weapon Satan has over humanity. Guard it for out of same flows the issues of life folk. The testimony we share with the Holy Spirit is God given by the blood sacrifice. If we are God's recommendation letter written on His heart then it must reflect further. Shalom
