I have many favourite authors but if I were to choose just one, it would be Kel Richards. This book is the first novel I ever read. I read children's books, Reader's Digest and encyclopedias before, but not full on novels. It took a while for my eleven year old brain to comprehend and imagine some scenes on this book but I finished it nonetheless. I've re read this novel over the years. I'm still searching for his other books starring his protagonist, Ben Bartholomew. PS. This book was originally gifted to my older brother by his then girlfriend.
