This is not my story. I read it somewhere, but it's an interesting story and I couldn't resist sharing it.
A practical session was going on in the psychology class.
The professor showed a large cage with a male rat in the middle of the cage.
Then, the professor put a piece of cake on one side and a female rat on the other side.
The male rat ran towards the cake and ate it.
Then, the professor replaced the cake and put some bread in its place.
The male rat again ran towards the bread.
The experiment continued with the professor changing the food ingredients each time.
And each time the male rat ran towards the food item but never towards the female rat.
The professor concluded:
"This experiment shows that food is the greatest force and attraction. It also proves Abraham Maslow's theory of hierarchy of needs."
Then, one of the students in the back row said:
"Sir, why don't you replace the female rat? It could be his wife!"
The professor stood up pointing his finger directly at the student and said "You are a damn genius."
