Rod Dreher, Rod Dreher's Diary (June 21, 2023) Everyone knows that many pagan holidays, holy sites, and philosophers were "Christianized."  Christians trimmed away objectionable aspects and appropriated the remainder for Christianity.  An ascendant ideology normally coopts useful elements of its predecessor in this way.  This is why everything and everyone is today being "Sodomized" by the ascendent ideology of Sodom.  No Christian church is excepted.  Their objectionable elements are being trimmed away and the remainder appropriated by Sodom.
