The Power Of Reckless Giving
Here's my point. A stingy sower will reap a meager harvest, but the one who sows from a generous spirit will reap an abundant harvest. Let giving flow from your heart, not from a sense of religious duty. Let it spring up freely from the joy of giving—all because God loves hilarious generosity! Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything —every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8 TPT
How much can you trust God with your matters? Can you obey and sow with reckless abandon? I still have trepidation of same but trust God whole heartedly. Let me tell a story of how God helped me get past my fear. A long time ago when we started the orphanage we were running out of food and needed food for our children and our family and there was no funds. Then we asked ourselves keep at least two meals amount for the children. I personally decided to put God to the test. Kyen has never had doubts when she hears in her spirit oh. In fact I set the precedence of doing what I called a Gideon and putting out a fleece. So we went into town during a fasting period and fed street kids. We knew we didn't have for the children in house yet obeyed. As we ate the last meal which we divided into breakfast and lunch or dinner, we got a call from the present Chair of our board.
They came to celebrate their anniversary and brought cooked food as well as grains and funds. God used them to show us He was very much on our matters. The next thing is folk started calling and visiting and then came the Naija Diamond awards documentary team as our dear brother led Dimbo Atiya led the team to CLAPAI and while that recording went through little did we know that a small seed had germinated into making us a household name. Mo Abudu and her team got sponsorship for the celebration of extraordinary Nigerians making a difference without funding from Diamond Bank. That video has been played so much now I wonder... it has brought partners from all over the world. We are most grateful indeed.

As I read the passage today it hit me, a stingy sower will reap a meager harvest, but the one who sows from a generous spirit will reap an abundant harvest. Let giving flow from your heart, not from a sense of religious duty. Let it spring up freely from the joy of giving—all because God loves hilarious generosity! I am reminded that we gave cheerfully and not out of religion and God has shown up time and time again. I told this story to ex0lain how sin distorts everything. My philandering ways cost us dearly and though God has forgiven my excess I realize that God has never allowed us see shame.
So let me encourage someone out there today. It may seem dark and you feel helpless just know that your seed is making for you a sure harvest. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do. I did not say this God said it through His son Jesus the Christ who told this parable. In fact hear Him, Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything —every moment and in every way! I add in Jesus name it is settled. We are in that season again and sowing can be hard but the harvest is sweet indeed as God shows up. God bless your weekend in Jesus name. Amen! Shalom
