Stand Still; Putting On The full Armor
Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place]. Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God, And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace. [Isa. 52:7.] Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one]. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated people).
Ephesians 6:11-18 AMPC
This morning I welcome you to the month of May. I hear in my spirit to stand still! Yet in that silence I also hear that we don the full armor of God and watch as He performs. In the last few weeks I have been learning to thank God differently. In the last month God ask we come Build a new nation. It is a wall of refuge. This is the year of our rising and shining light of God. So what is the month of May all about? I am quickly reminded about the grave and glorious story of Joseph and his dream as well as how it came to pass.
Let us explore this a bit more. The process may be ugly, but the product is so beautiful. Remember that Joseph had this dream a while back and it didn't manifest or become a reality immediately. Josephs' dreams at age 17, of his brothers bowing down to him, took approximately 22 years to come true! The dream didn't mention the struggles that came along the way. Sometimes God will allow us to wait and endure because He is preparing us for what is ahead.

Now, nothing that Joseph went through was in vain; instead, the trials prepared him for his triumph. Everything that he experienced along the way was crucial for his position in God. Similarly, nothing that you have been through is in vain. Your experience and challenges on the way to your dream will inspire others and gives you the platform for ministry (serving). This learning process is what God is teaching Kyenpiya and I. It has been tough but His missional message to us is clear. Relationships are under intense attacks but know this, a season is at hand where a massive change takes over and it won't be business as usual.
This month, it will shock us that all we have dreamt and desired will come about and it won't be easy. It will come with pangs of birth pains. Truly a new nation is being birthed wherein impunity is not accepted. A break down of rules of law has jettisoned soundness within society. But then May this month cause us to Stand still as see the work of God, also it is a season to put on the full armor of God. I speak against the impending battle and state firmly that even as we down the full armor, there would be no need to take up our swords as God himself is in this battle. A glorious path opens but its not a season to rush but to wait as God takes over. May answers you and all the fears and confusion in the land is arrested. The siege is stalled and the bloodshed forestalled in the mighty name of Jesus. God make us to stand still yet ready foe the battles this month in Jesus name thank you for our sum total liberation in Jesus name Amen! Shalom
