doe eyes
conch neck
rose petal pink lips
clamshell eyelids
gait of an elephant
banana stem thighs,
and many more are the examples how our poets used to describe beauty. There is a saying about poets,
जहां न पहुंचे रवि, वहां पहुंचे कवि
(Where the sun doesn't reach, the poet will).
But what I'm going to emphasize here is not their power of imagination, but the way they appreciated beauty by bringing nature into it. Today we may compare beauty with actors or actresses, but no imagination would be complete without thinking of nature and its creations.
Humans need nature more than nature needs them. Nature can exist without man, but humans can't exist without nature.
The relationship between humans and ecosystems has long been established as the air humans breathe, the water they drink, the food they eat, and the flow of everything around them.
But now we talk of battles with nature, we talk of conquering Moon and Mars, but even after winning the battle, we end up losing only. No one can win the war with his own mother.
But nature is not dumb and deaf, humans are. we do not care Over population, large scale mining, burning of fossil fuels, pollution, deforestation etc. and the consequences we face are soil erosion, poor air quality, no potable water, spread of pathogens and diseases, global warming, landslides, floods, droughts, earthquakes etc.
Where will all this end? No one knows, but I believe that the love of nature is the essence of my existence, and I am trying to exist.
