Police arrested the accused, Anse Ger, Micoud, resident Leonie Charles after the April 23, 2023 incident in which a woman in her thirties sustained multiple injuries. The injuries were not life-threatening. According to reports, a masked man armed with a machete entered the woman's home in Anse Ger, Micoud, at about 3:00 am and attacked her, fleeing when she called out to others in the house for help.
