1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 – "Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus."
I always like to memorize key verses in the Bible that will help me through the day. Call them guideposts, call them foundations, but they are like the streetlamps along a dark road.
Today's verses are one of those that has become a foundation to my daily walk. During my day, I often recite this passage and remind myself of the following:
1. Walk in joy.
2. Pray continually.
3. Give thanks no matter what my circumstance or where I find myself.
Today, write this verse on a card and start to commit to your memory. Then remember the words, "A Joyful Face, With Prayerful Mind, Results in a Thankful Heart during the course of my day."
This is a guidepost that you can use all day long. Have a great journey.
