I like to think about life this way:
Imagine a maestro putting his acts together to produce a masterpiece; one that would stand out for ages as the perfection of art. He meticulously creates his characters and assigns roles that suits the minutest detail about them. Only that His characters are unaware of everything. They think they are individuals with a mind of their own, a life of their own and masters of their own destiny. And to a certain extent, they aren't far from right. They observe the amazing things they are able to create and innovate on daily basis and can't help but think they're the main deal.
But well above them, the maestro looks on with keen interest and with some kind of cheer in His heart. He just loves the twists and turns. Not that they're surprising to Him but He just relishes how even the seemingly irrelevant events add up to the grand scene of life. He comes in only when needed to grant perhaps an insight, healing or grace and then throws Himself into the viewing seat in eagerness to know what happens next although He has the blue print. Yet still, his characters have absolutely no idea about what's going on. They think they are individuals with a mind of their own, a life of their own and that they are masters of their own destiny.

The path to take is imprinted in the fabric of the journeyer.
Do you realize you're a character in the grand play of life? Or perhaps you may have gotten yourself busy and lost in the complexities of day to day living that you just can't imagine that life could be that simple? However lost you are, you're never too lost to embrace life anew. To trust that the same intelligence that spins the planets in their orbits and causes the lilies of the field to grow and be clothed has a purpose for your life, and life in general. Listen, and you'll hear it. It's right there in the recess of your heart. The truth is ever near you. For the path to take is imprinted in the fabric of the journeyer.
A simple trust in the beauty of the design of life will free you from the torment of the fearful mind and help you be in sync with life. You'll be more attuned to the seasons of life. You'll just know when it's time for a change. For everything within you bears witness to it and there's a surge of momentum that just drives you from within towards change. That's the simplicity of life. I could make it a lot harder for myself and others, but why would I?
