"I feel like... there has to be balance, between developing yourself and... enjoying life," said Charlotte.
"Constantly being on the battlefront can grow one so quickly but it tires one out just as quickly. Periodic rests didn't appeal to me because what's the point if it's just a wait for another exhausting combat?
"It turns out, though, yes, they simply let us regain energy to come back at the battlefield. It only becomes problematic when either (1) the break is not enough, or (2) the battlefield is simply not our thing.
"Do I enjoy my exhaustive organisational work? Yes I think I do, in ways that things we do here are things I consider to be cool and even purely enjoyable at times. The stressors are, in some ways, meditative, even.
"It's likely to be inadequate breaks here, then. And when I say 'break', I don't only mean sleep, exercise, diet (and perhaps mental shutdowns), but also engaging in other productive activities that have been longing to have my passion poured on them.
"Whenever I take a break and watch something random on YouTube, I realize how much I enjoy making videos. Whenever I see people working on their passion projects, I can't help but long for such a drive. I've got many stuff to potentially work on, and it takes those break times to pursue them and fulfill those needs before I can regain my energy back and plunge myself back into the battlefield."
"I see," said Chloe. "I hope you get to tackle more of those passionate drive in you."
"Yeah."
