2 Thessalonians 3:3,5 NLT – But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.
This morning, as I read this passage, I began to ponder what is really the difference between a believer and a non-believer. What is the difference between someone who is lost and someone who has been born again? All of us answer these questions the same: The person who is born again is on their way to heaven. The person who is not born again simply is not going to be in heaven.
Yet there is still more to distinguish Christ's involvement in the lives of those who are lost and those who are saved. For the individual who is lost, there is no hope. There is only one involvement of Christ in their life, and that is His offer with outstretched hands that communicates "Come to me and become my child." That is the only involvement God has for the lost.

But for those who are believers, there is an absolutely profound difference. Christ is absolutely, without question, immersed in their lives. The sad part is that so many believers don't take this to be reality. They simply go to church, worship, and then Monday through Saturday, live their life in their own way and place. The closest they come to involving Christ in their life is to pray before their meals.
This is not my criticism, but it is the reality of a life wasted on a journey with God. Christ in the life of a believer guards and battles to push away the evil one. To be immersed in our experiences every moment of every day in our relationship with Him. For the believer, a life wasted is failing to embrace God's presence in your life after you have become born again. It is through this walk that you become immersed and brought to a full understanding of the depth of Christ's love in your daily experience. It is the difference.
Today, commit yourself to engage God's presence in your daily life. It will make such a wonderful experience. One without doubt and fear. A life that is full of abundance and satisfaction.
Stay healthy and have a blessed day!
