On Hierarchy
The hierarchy I reprimand is based on determinist thought: discriminating sex, gender, caste, religion, et cetera. The hierarchy I praise is (will be) based on meritocracy.
On Technology
Doctor Kissinger claims that technology has become leitmotif of our age. I had criticized it yet the actual problem with his thought is that unlike Doctor Wallerstein, he considers technology to be something of modern era. Even though a paint brush is an improvement upon the technology of painting with one's finger. In every age, technology is prized (principle); however, the 'techie' (principal) is treated little better than Nikola Tesla. Doctor Wallerstein disparagingly calls yuppie a genius lending himself to George Westinghouse, while Robert Greene has a valid law against displaying one's genius, since people can live with a seemingly benevolent prince (determinist hierarchy) but not with a genius (meritocracy). Rather than follow Tesla (or his eugenics), however, we may at least appreciate his being and not let him die in poverty.
On Principal/Principle
In the main, I and author Karen Armstrong had been talking past one another. She recognized God as Principle yet wishes that people follow principals (teachers) to know God. I believe in principles yet thought God to be a Being. In truth, with 'Ali bin Abi Talib one can agree: Through breakdown of my will did I recognize Allah. True Principle is never in need of human principal. As they say, caught in tempest, boatmen do need to be taught prayer. Further, Gibran exhorts never to find God through solving mustērion, thereby upended he the very foundation of Roman Catholicism.
On Radical Scepticism
The major difference between Doctors Yuval Noah Harari and Lisa Feldman Barrett is that one castigates to the dustbin, certain things as mind, giving them the rubric, "pollution"; the other denies that there is objective sound of a tree falling in the wilderness with no mammal present in the vicinity. The confusion between medium and message that Douglas Hofstadter was at pains to point out simply vanishes for Doctor Barrett's radical sceptic self.
On Rashōmon and Roshômon
The latter one is my error at the expanse of the original word – proof once more that that effect is very much real. Irregardless of my error, the objective reality remained the same and the correct word remained correct the while I did not recognize my error; rather than living in Berenstein Universe, Murphy's law is preferable. (While we are at it, let me state that Douglas Hofstadter was one of the inspirations behind my "Prospect Theory" article, though I had forgotten that between writing it and publishing it.)
