First of all, if you are on the fence on buying an EV, save your money. Sticking with gasoline is your best bet. Electric vehicles are not practical. Despite the pro EVers liking them, charging them is the biggest headache.
Fast charging doesn't always work, in fact you can't always charge them and sometimes they might even kill your EV. Not only that, they're not good in the cold unless you're tethered to an electric outlet, it doesn't make much sense to buy one in colder climates. Now I know that some people are willing to deal with these shortcomings and there is a ton more in which one of them is there is thousands of used EVs (some are lightly used, from 2023 and have less than 10,000 miles on them).
I'm not trying to hold people back from buying one, I'm trying to show the unethical reasons why you shouldn't buy one namely this administration is spending too much money on them, forcing the auto industry to gear towards them which ultimately, EVs are likely to fail anyway. Most people are not willing to deal with these shortcomings of EVs and thats going to be a big mess especially when this administration is also trying to regulate people out of gas vehicles, or ICE.
This economical suicidal mess that this administration is doing by forcing people out of gas vehicles is just beyond wrong, its evil. Whether it's by a tax or they restrict gas vehicle sales it's preventing those who need a gas vehicle to get around as a gas vehicle is an essential tool.
But that's not going to stop these people. Of course if companies resisted this move ahead of time and if consumers were wise enough to never buy an EV we probably wouldn't be faced with this situation. Every year the sales of EVs go up and there isn't much we can do about that. And some people really do want an EV and is not willing to sacrifice that to get rid of our corrupt political leaders.
And that's fine, however this is a test of our own morality and besides the shortcomings of EVs which will continue to escalate the other aspect is the environmental damage we are doing to humans and their environment when getting EV materials. While some people may have health problems around ICE vehicles we also have medical care and you can also center your life away from gas fumes. No one is telling you have no choice but to deal with that but at the same time you can't get get rid of them easily which is why some states are trying to ban new gas vehicle sales.
It may help lessen your gas fume pollution but increases everyone elses stress levels because they spent time, money and effort into the gas engine. But besides that the majority doesnt want an EV and again, those on the fence shouldn't be buying an EV. In fact get off the fence and say no to EVs. That would really benefit our country and we then can get rid of the corruption in the political system.
All this going with EVs is just enabling more corruption and more evil. And I refuse to side with evil. Oil companies are not saints either but we need oil. We do need to lessen our needs on it but doing evil to get rid of evil isn't the way. We get rid of evil by doing good. We stick with what we already have and then do something good with it. Synthetic fuels and hydrogen are two better solutions and we won't need to force it because many people will already go for it. And we should go for the American oil companies instead of relying on foreign oil and investing money there so people have affordable fuel while they would invest in hydrogen and synthetic fuels.
Leave the electric vehicles to those that want them but I pray people see the evil that has infested America and the world before it's too late. Because otherwise pushing for electric vehicles is just basically the same as siding with Satan.
