Tangled by an alluring dance,
oblivious to its mute romance.
Entrapped to slowly be seduced,
by tight knots that cannot come loose.
I toss, then turn, try hard to sway,
the more I move, the more I stays.
My helpless heart stands still in place,
give into loss, no will to chase.
But sacrifice is not my name,
refuse to play these worthless games.
Calms inner nerves, search clouded mind,
tasting the hope I know I'll find.
Opens both eyes and comes to see,
my captor has always been me.
The ego side, afraid to live,
realizing this makes all knots give.
