The life you left behind, you're standing in now.
Think forward, think back, stand still, listen to your heart beat.
Who you were is who you still are;
Older, wiser , fractured, healed;
Say goodbye to the past that haunts you, while you bury bones and axes and be the best version of yourself.
Burn the ashes and throw them out to sea.
Never look back to find me, I never left, you just can't see.

who have walked before me,

Thank you for your gift of love, courage, bravery, power and heart.

To my daughters, you are my world and I'm so proud of you
